Obituary of Jesse Moore Jesse Corbett Moore (Corby), age 85, of Westover, WV passed on November 30, 2018 at 10:58 am at Sundale Nursing Home. Jesse was the son of Earley L. and Audrey Sponaugle Moore. Jesse was born in Weirton, WV on January 5, 1933.

He moved to Morgantown, WV at the age of six and graduated from Morgantown High School in 1952. He served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1957 as a fuel cell specialist on B-36 bombers in the Strategic Air Command. Jesse worked at Chico Dairy Co. as route salesman for 25 years upon returning from the Air Force.

Jesse married his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy Ellen Newman Moore, on August 9, 1958. Jesse is survived by his son Michael C. Moore and wife Shari Moore; his daughter Linda Pentz and husband William Pentz III; and three grandchildren, Whitney (Bobby) Reynolds, Sara Moore, and Will Pentz IV; and his last living sister Colleen Scotnicki; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Samuel R. Newman and Daniel P. Newman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carl W Moore and wife Eileen Moore; and sister Mary Moore Dove and husband Gene Dove. Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 3:00 pm until the 7:00 pm funeral service with Pastor Karen Tate officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made in Jesse’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1299 Pineview Dr. # 3, Morgantown, WV 26505.
