Janice Kathryn Carter Harris, 79, of Paducah, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 13th, 2018 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah. Janice was a retired Medical Records Clerk for Lourdes Hospital of Paducah, and was of the Church of Christ faith. Janice is survived by two children, Felicia (David) Scheer of Paducah, and douglas (Angela) Harris of Paducah; two siblings, Patricia Cissell of Birmingham, AL.

, and Leslie (Tommy) Flatt of Paducah; grandchildren, Lindsay (Connor) Stetson and their children, Landon and Carter of Paducah, Derek Harris and companion Sherry Crittenden and their children, Jay, Jonah , and Bruce of Paducah, West (Rebecca) Harris and their children, June Claire, Owen, Gwen, and Nora of Lexington, Matthew (Allyson) Scheer and their children, Ivy Jane, and Jude of Paducah, and Emily (Matt) Barks and their children, Parkyr and Dylinn Rae of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Edward Carter and Georgia Kathryn Nace Carter; and one sister, Carolyn Faye Bennett. Friends and family are encouraged to attend a memorial service that will be held on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah starting at 4pm with Tommy Flatt officiating .

A Private family burial will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given in her honor to the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah. Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
