Janie’s Obituary Janie Kell Hargadine, 67, of Broken Bow, formerly of Maud, TX, passed away at her home, Friday, May 24, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Janie was born January 4, 1952, in Licking, MO, to LeRoy and Judy (Law) Kell. Janie was a member of the The Church, in Millerton, OK, and enjoyed riding horses, making flower arrangements, singing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In her younger years, Janie enjoyed playing slot machines. Janie was a retiree of the International Paper Company. Janie married the love of her life, Joe Hargadine on February 12, 1999, and they spent a wonderful 20 years together.

After her retirement, she loved spending time with Joe; taking care of their farm and their cows. Janie is survived by her loving husband, Joe Hargadine, of the home; daughter, Lori Whitehead and husband, Curtis, of Winthrop, AR; sons, Billy W. Ford, of Wilton, AR, and Chad Ford and wife, Shelby, of Arden, AR; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Kell and wife, Joyce, of Wake Village, TX, and Ronnie Kell and wife, Sandy, of Louisiana; one sister, Jackie Butler and husband, Dwight, of Maud, TX; sister-in-law, Karen Jones and husband, Rich, of Ft. Smith, AR; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Maxine Hargadine, of Broken Bow; a special daughter-in-law, Bonnie Hall, and husband, Bill, of Clute, TX; a host of other relatives and many friends, including her church family.

Janie was preceded in death by her parents; LeRoy and Judy Kell; son, Brandon Hargadine; sister, Jean McGuire; and two brothers, Garry Kell and Roy Kell, Jr. A special thank you from the Hargadine Family to Aspire Hospice, especially, Emily, Kirsten, Renee and Willie. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Friday, May 31, 2019, at 2:00PM, at The Church, in Millerton, OK, with Brother Brent Coffey officiating. The family will be gathering at the Hargadine home in Golden, OK.
