Obituary for Janie Sue Graves Janice Sue Graves, 63, of Shepherd, TX was born in Channelview, Texas on July 27, 1955 to parents Bill Edding and Ruby Joyce Graves and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 1, 2018. Janice was the sixth of fifteen children. She attended Channelview High School, and lived in Channelview until 2013.
Janice was a big-hearted person. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching her soaps (General Hospital) and listening to Alan Jackson and Ricky Van Shelton. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her caring soul, being mischevious, loving, and strong-willed.
Janice is survived by her brothers, Jerry Graves (Lois) of Shepherd, TX, Ronnie Graves (Mary) of Shepherd, TX, Harry Graves (Mandy) of Dayton, TX; Robert Graves of Shepherd, TX, William Graves (Bethanny) of Channelview, TX; Stephen Graves (Cindy); sisters, Patricia Rodriguez of LaPorte, TX, Mary DeForest (Ernie) of Bay City, TX, Donna Murphrey (George) of Shepherd, TX, Bonnie Graves of Bay City, TX, and Betty Lupardus (Jodie) of Alvin, TX; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
