She is preceded in death by her husband Antonio Jesus Villarreal, parents Steve G. Santa Cruz Jr. & Concepcion Santa Cruz and daughter Racheal Villarreal. She is survived by her daughter Gabriella Fraire, brothers; Steven Santa Cruz III, Richard Santa Cruz, sisters; Dolores Martinez, Anna Maria Santa Cruz, Gloria Santa Cruz, Mr. & Mrs. Rosalinda S. C. Vidales & Santos and 1 grandson; Tony Villarreal.

Janie is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 3:30-8:30PM with a prayer service at 7:00PM. On Tuesday, January 8, 2018 visitation will begin at 8:00-9:15AM.

A procession will depart the funeral home at approximately 9:30AM for a 10:00AM church service at Believers Christian Center with interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
