OBITUARY Jarrod Christopher Chessie January 11, 1984 – October 31, 2018 Lewiston – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jarrod Christopher Chessie, age 34. Born on January 11th, 1984, Jarrod resided in the Rumford area for most of this life and was employed by National Inspection Consultants (NIC), through which he was able to travel throughout the U.S. frequently. Jarrod treasured the times was able to spend with family and friends – his kindness and humor were contagious, as he always knew how to make you laugh.
He made frequent trips to Yankee Stadium with friends and family, always knowing which team to root for. Jarrod is survived by his father Christopher J. Chessie of Mexico, ME; his brothers Christian Chessie and companion Samantha Morse of Old Orchard Beach, ME, Shaun Lee and wife Jenny Brakovec of Waco, TX, and Jessie Cross of Rumford, ME; his longtime partner Desiree Bulger and her family of Rumford, ME; his mother Laurie LaPointe of Mexico, ME; his Mom Maryann Magnant of Virginia; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; a niece Hannah Lee; three nephews, Seamus Lee, Cormac Lee and Colton Bulger. Jarrod will always be remembered for his kind soul and generous spirit, and he will be missed by many.
