GROVEPORT- Jason A. Ettenger, age 42, passed on to the Lord, Jesus on October 7, 2018. Jason was born October 3, 1976 in Cleveland to the late Charles Ettenger and the former Marcia Smith. Jason attended Kent State University and worked for Casino Construction in the Columbus area.

He was the former owner of New Creations Construction Company. Jason was a believer in Jesus Christ; he was a member of Lower Lights Community Church of the Nazarene. Jason was extremely talented at construction and remodeling.

He was accomplished at Finish Carpentry and a passionate mechanic. In his spare time he enjoyed volunteering at Christian Music Festivals. He is survived by his daughter Makenzie Ettenger, his mother Marcia DeLaratta, his sisters Regina (Jarek) Esarco and Jessica Moghadam, and his brother Nicholas (Amanda) DeLaratta.

Friends may call 10-11AM Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Pleasant Valley Church, 2055 Pleasant Valley Rd. in Niles. Pastor Gerald Dowe will celebrate Jason’s life at 11AM.
