Jay Brian Eldridge was born on February 20, 1970, in Rockford, Illinois. He passed away on May 19, 2018, in Dallas, Texas, at age 48. Affectionately regarded as “Jay-Pop”, Jay was proud of his service to his country.

He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. Among many interests, Jay delighted in making and admiring train sets. He also loved his hound dogs.

Funny. Proud Veteran. Devoted husband.

Smart. Stubborn. Jay Eldridge will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jay was predeceased by his father, Jessie W. Eldridge, and wife, Bonnie Eldridge. Those left to cherish precious memories include his daughter, Dakota Eldridge; daughter, Nikki Bevers; grandson, Carson Jay Jackson; mother, Carol Jean Eldridge; sister, Betty Crabtree; brother, Troy Eldridge; and dear friend, Drew Lyke.
