Jay E. Gerding GLANDORF – Jay E. Gerding, 60, of Glandorf died at 12:35 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Blanchard Valley Health System, Findlay. He was born September 7, 1958 in Lima to the late Norbert and Jane (Hermiller) Gerding. He is survived by three brothers, Tom (Cheryl) Gerding, Jeff (Elaine) Gerding, and Nick (Kim) Gerding all of Glandorf; two sisters, Jill Gerding of Glandorf and Jan (Keith) Cheney of Lima; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Phil Gerding. Jay worked for Kohls Warehouse in Findlay. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences can be expressed at: www.
