Ruth L. Taylor OAKWOOD — Ruth L. Taylor, 80, of Oakwood died 5:30 a.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center surrounded by her family. She was born November 24, 1938 in Oakwood to the late Karl B. and Betty V. (Miller) Adams. On March 17, 1968, she married Donald W. Taylor who died January 14, 2017.

She is survived by her 2 sons: Karl (Mary Jo) Miller of Continental, and John Taylor of Oakwood, 2 daughters: Lori Butler and Mary (Steve) Akers, all of Oakwood. One brother: Elmer (Carol) Adams of Oakwood, 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Ruth is preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Miller, and 2 great grandsons: Benji Collins and Jesse Taylor.

She formerly worked in housekeeping at Glenwood Nursing Home, Defiance. The funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Rev. Stan Harmon officiating.

Burial will be at a later date.
