Linda G. Wagner MARYSVILLE – Linda G. (Place) Wagner of Marysville, formerly of Leipsic died at 9:22 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at home of a heart attack. She was born December 2, 1944 in Findlay to the late Gene and Virginia (Wortman) Place. On September 24, 1966 she married Bill Wagner, originally from Leipsic, who survives in Marysville.

Linda is also survived by their daughters, Lori (David) Peterson of Marysville and Julie (Tony) Berger of Wauseon; granddaughters, Nikki and Jessie Berger and Sarah Peterson; grandsons, Jacob, Jack, and Luke Peterson; step grandson, Matt (Tessa) Berger; step great-granddaughter, Ellie Berger; brothers, Larry, Paul, Tracy and Jim Place; and her sister, Patti (Todd) Hall. Linda was a R.N. from St. Rita’s School of Nursing and she worked many years as a home health nurse in Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay. Later she was an office nurse for Dr. Andrew Kowalewsky in Columbus.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Marysville. Linda loved to travel and visited Rome, London, Paris and several South American countries. Her favorite place to be was at the beach, after retirement, she was a voracious reader, and loved attending her grandchildren’s many activities.

She played the piano and loved having the family gather around the piano at Christmastime to sing carols. She frequently had a jigsaw puzzle going, and enjoyed her card games with the grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic, with Fr.

William Pifher officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 27, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic, and one hour prior to services at St Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday.
