Mildred A. Ellerbrock OTTAWA — Mildred A. Ellerbrock, 97, of Ottawa died 8:34 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Meadows of Kalida. She was born October 8, 1921 in Kalida to the late Joseph H. and Catherine (Schmitz) Wurth. On May 29, 1948 she married Benedict H. Ellerbrock, who died March 1, 2015.

She is survived by 8 children: Gary Ellerbrock of Findlay, Theresa Ellerbrock of New York, NY, Rose (Tim) Krouse of Sugar Grove, Randy Ellerbrock of Ottawa, Joan (Greg) Sidle of Spotsylvania, VA, Mark (Marti) Ellerbrock of Ottawa, Lisa (Clark) Nash of Leipsic, and Laura (John) Sdao of Fredericksburg, VA; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Eugene (Joyce) Wurth and Tom (Ruth) Wurth, both of Kalida; a sister: Nora Lou Basinger of Kalida; and a sister-in-law: Edna Wurth of Cloverdale. Mildred is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Elaine Ellerbrock; 5 brothers: Joseph, Carl, Robert, Louis and Richard Wurth; 2 sisters: Marie Langhals and Emma Hoersten. Mildred was a member of Sts.

Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, and she formerly worked in the Putnam County Treasurer’s Office. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a scripture service will be held at 7:50 p.m.Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Matt Jozefiak officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Reception to follow at Ottawa American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of the donor’s choice.
