Obituary of Jayne Nishikawa Jayne (Nagano) Nishikawa passed away peacefully on December 16, 2018 at Sunrise Senior Living at Fair Oaks, Fairfax, Virginia. She was 96 years old. She was born on August 2, 1922 San Francisco, California.

She often entertained family members with stories of roller skating up and down the hills of San Francisco. She married Kazuo “Kaz” Nishikawa on April 12, 1947. They first lived in Kaneohe, Hawaii, then moved to Washington DC and lived in several northern Virginia locations.

They were also stationed in Japan and Thailand and took the opportunity to visit many places in Asia while living there. Jayne’s husband Kaz preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Knox and son-in-law Richard Knox; her son Allen Nishikawa; her granddaughter Kristin (Knox) Fratto, husband Mark Fratto, and great grandson Jackson Fratto; her granddaughter Kelly Knox.

A private family graveside service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
