Obituary of Nicholas Nocella Nicholas Jean Nocella, of Herndon, Virginia passed away on February 13, 2019. He was 87. He was born on December 23, 1931 to Nicholas Senior and Mary Nocella in Brooklyn New York.

Nicholas moved his wife, Adele Nocella and their three kids, Stephanie, Diane and Andrew to Herndon in 1972. He worked most of his career analyzing news print demand trends for the Newspaper Asscoation of America in Reston, Virginia. He maintained an active lifestyle for all 87 years, traveling often to South America and visited local wineries each weekend in the Northern Virginia area.

He is survived by his daughter Diane Shaw of Culpeper, VA and his son Andrew Nocella of Chicago, IL. He was also a loving grandfather. Visitation for friends and family will take place on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Herndon, Virginia on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
