Obituary for Jean Andre “Beli” Genece Of Waltham passed away peacefully Friday October 27, 2018 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a long illness at the age of 52. Born on January 9, 1966 in La Gonave, Haiti; beloved son of the late Hebert Genece and Elieze Marceus, Jean immigrated to the United States as a young boy in 1987. He settled in New York City for several years before moving to Waltham over 30 years ago.

Jean Andre is survived by his devoted 5 siblings and loving companion Su. In addition he is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Jean Andre’s Life at the Hope International & Morijah Evangelical Church, 21 Bruce Road, Waltham on Saturday Nov.

3rd at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Friday evening Nov. 2nd from 6 – 8 p.m. To send flowers to the family of Jean Andre “Beli” Genece, please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
