Jean M. Boklewski, 66, of Niles, Illinois passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Peter and Jean Schmit. Jean had a passion for her work in education and also loved cooking and decorating her home, and others’ homes, the Cubs, and spending time with her family, especially her 5 grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her long-time life partner Brian Glorioso; children, Timothy (Jennifer) Boklewski, Jennifer (Megan Schott) Boklewski, and Robert (Erica) Boklewski; Siblings, Kathleen (Robert) Yaksich, Maureen Ratajesak, Nancy (Michael) Riley, Peter (Barbara) Schmit, and Susan (Anthony) Maniscalco; and grandchildren Abigail Boklewski (5), Mason Boklewski (4), Robert Boklewski (3), Tanner Boklewski (2) and Benjamin Boklewski (10 months). A celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 1 PM until 6 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Rd. , Lake Zurich.
