Raymond Stephan Haumann, 79 of Woodstock was born September 30, 1938 in Chicago to Stephan and Elma (nee Engel) Haumann. He passed away peacefully on Friday, August 24, 2018 at his residence in Woodstock. Ray loved trains and trucks, John Wayne movies, Smoky and the Bandit, All Dogs Go to Heaven, and the song “Who Let the Dogs Out”.

Ray will be missed by everyone at Sheltered Village and especially his best friend of over 32 years Stevie Rosch. Raymond is survived by his sisters, Janet (the late Robert) Wills, and Karen Haumann; his nieces and nephew, Butch (Kimberly) Haumann, Jennifer (Michael) Raffe, and Angelica Haumann; and his grand nieces and nephews, Amanda, and Keven Haumann , Justin, Ian, and Matthew Raffe, and Chloe, Hailey and Sully Irvine. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Leonard (Virginia Helen) Hauman and Virginia Ann Haumann; and his parents.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at 10am, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Historic Campus, 178 McHenry Ave. , Crystal Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given the family.
