Ron was born September 7, 1946 in Chicago. He passed away October 24, 2018. Ron is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pat; children, Carlin (Greg) Shiffler, Kyle (Kristen) Flubacker, and Morgan (Neil Huffman) Flubacker; grandchildren, Lucia and Emma Shiffler, Cooper and Cheyenne Huffman, and Max Flubacker; and brothers, Robert (Tami), and Rich (Debbie) Flubacker.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Muriel Flubacker. Ron was a self-employed architect in the Barrington area for over 40 years. He loved his work and the clients and the community he served.

Visitation will be 4pm-8pm Sunday, October 28 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake Cook Road), Barrington. The funeral service will be at 11am, Monday, October 29 at the funeral home followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
