Mary Kirby Suma, 90, has gone home to Heaven. Born in Chicago to Francis and Alice (Burns) Kirby, she passed away October 17, 2018 in McHenry. She was the beloved wife of Arthur Suma, Jr

They were married over 50 years before his passing in 2005. Mary was blessed with the love of family, caretakers, and friends. She will be missed by her children, Arthur (Beth), Mark, Scott (Kate), David, and Mary (Joseph) Hodorowicz; grandchildren, Matt (Kristen), Meredith (Mark), Andrew (Sarah), Joseph, Michael, Allison ( Mike), Scotty, Kyle, and David; great grandchildren, Sydney, Jack, Kingsly, Evelyn, Aidan, Gavan, and Elaine; and brothers, William and Bud.

She is further survived by her cousin, Judy, and many more cousins, nephews and nieces. She was a devoted Catholic who loved life and lived it to the fullest. She danced and sang and laughed bringing joy to all who knew her.

Mary had a wonderful welcoming and smiling presence to anyone she met, especially all the residents and workers at Fox Pointe in McHenry. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 20th, from 9:30 AM until the time of mass at 11:00 AM at Church of the Holy Apostles, 5211 Bull Valley Rd. , McHenry.

Entombment will be with her husband at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum, Alsip, IL.
