Jean Cangelosi Tieren passed away on March 24, 2019 after a short illness. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ on May 2, 1926. She was predeceased by her patents Guiseppe and Lena Caterinicchio, brother Peter Caterinicchio and sister Mary Marchese.

She was also predeceased by her husband Anthony Cangelosi after 50 years of marriage and her husband Frank Tieren after 10 years of marriage. After residing in Elizabeth for 28 years Jean and Anthony moved to Linden until retiring in Port Charlotte Florida. Jean worked as a saleswoman and buyer for Jersey State Electric in Elizabeth and ended her career working for the Union County Probation Dept.

She is survived by her 2 sons Drew Cangelosi and his wife Kate Kolbert and Joe Cangelosi and his wife Kathy; grandchildren Jered Kolbert and Rachel Fedorov and her husband Ivan, Jessica Cangelosi Hade and husband Scott, Melissa Jean Kingsland and husband Matthew, and 10 grandchildren Kennedy and Karlena Kolbert, Dima, Mila, Nina and Gav Fedorov, Evan and Anthony Joseph Hade, Madelyn Jean and Mila Kathleen Kingsland. Jean was an incredibly loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed life to its fullest and ended on her own terms.

We will all miss her. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local Hospice Center. A memorial of her life will be celebrated at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home on March 30 from 4:00 to 6:00.
