Jean’s Obituary Jean E. Robinson, age 76, of Frankford, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. She was born in Millville, DE on April 26, 1942 daughter of the late Bennie Chandler and Catherine (Banks) Chandler. Jean had worked for Frank Smith’s Nursery in Millsboro, DE before her retirement.

She enjoyed going on cruises, family dinners, camping and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Robinson in 2011; three brothers, Roland, Preston and George Chandler and a sister, Ruth Gum. She is survived by three daughters, Gail Carmean and her husband, Blair of Millsboro, DE, Brenda Hitchens and her husband, Kenny of Georgetown, DE and Lisa Todd and her husband, Mike of Frankford, DE; five grandchildren, Tamara Sprout, Ray Carmean, Michael Carmean, Kenny Hitchens, II and Laura Miller; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Virgil Chandler; her twin sister, Joan Jenkins and two other sisters, Joyce Tubbs and Carolyn Moore.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Union Cemetery in Georgetown, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Jean’s name to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
