Jean F. Robarge Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend Jean Frances (Ramalho) Robarge, 85, passed away peacefully Sunday evening January 20th, 2019 at the Devereaux House in Marblehead, MA. She was surrounded by her loving family. Jean was the cherished wife of the late Albert L. Robarge who died in 2008.

They resided in Pelham, NH for most of their 56-year marriage. Jean was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Pelham and the Pelham Food Pantry, living out her faith by tirelessly serving others. She enjoyed quilting and made many beautiful quilts for family, friends and charities.

Jean was born in Lowell, MA, July 18, 1933, the daughter of the late Francis E. Ramalho and the late Gladys E. (Miller) Ramalho. Jean graduated from Tewksbury High School. A stay at home mother for many years, Jean eventually went to work for New England Telephone Company (NYNEX), a job she retired from in 1991.

She is survived by her two daughters, Gay E. Daigle and her husband Edward R. of Windham, NH and Hope M. Hitchcock and her husband Randy M. of Marblehead, MA; her two sons David A. Robarge and his wife Dianne of North Port, FL and Peter R. Robarge and his wife Patricia Lentz of Chesterfield, NH. She is further survived by thirteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; her sister Nancy E. DeCarolis of Londonderry, NH; her brother Robert E. Ramalho and his wife Marsha of Litchfield, NH; as well as many nieces and nephews. Jean’s life will be honored and remembered on January 27th, 2019.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 2:00 to 3:30pm at the First Congregational Church in Pelham and a Memorial Service that will follow at 3:30pm. Burial will be held privately. Should you desire, memorial contributions can be made in Jean’s memory to The Pelham Food Pantry, 12 Main Street, Pelham, NH 03076.
