Jean F. Stauffer May 14, 1930 – January 09, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Card Jean F. Stauffer, 88, of Emmaus, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township. She was the wife of the late Donald Carson Stauffer, Sr., who died in 1981. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ray George and Verna E. (Reppert) Fenstermaker.

Jean was a 1948 graduate of William Allen High School. She worked as a bookkeeper at Pittsburgh Plate Glass and later in the garment industry for Modern Slacks and Greif Company. Jean was a member of the Ladies Garment Workers Union, a volunteer at the Senior Center in Emmaus and an avid league bowler with the Leisure Group.

She was also a member of Grace UCC in Allentown. Survivors: Daughter, Linda J. Stauffer of Bethlehem; sons, Jeffrey A. Stauffer and his wife Cathy of Macungie and Donald Carson Stauffer, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Whitehall; 5 grandchildren, Bryan Freed, Jason Stauffer, Jonathan Roberts, Laura Stauffer and David Stauffer; 6 great-grandchildren, Alexander, Makinley, Connor, Katerina, Jameson and Jana; 4 nieces. Jean was preceded in death by a brother Frederick Fenstermaker, a sister Joan Malone and a granddaughter Victoria Samuels.

Services: A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, January 14, 2019 in St. Mark’s Cemetery, 103 W. Lexington Street, Allentown. Arrangements entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc. Contributions: in lieu of flowers, may be made to Second Wind Dreams, 350 S. Cedarbrook Road, Allentown, PA 18104.
