Jean Jakelsky, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in New York City, New York the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Slabicki. Mrs. Jakelski was a lifelong resident of Manville, NJ.

She worked at the Manville Public Library in Manville, NJ for many years. Mrs. Jakelsky was a loving wife and mother who loved being with her family. She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (Christ the Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ.

She was predeceased by her husband George Jakelsky in 2010 and by her identical twin sister Helen Kozlowicz . She is survived by her dedicated and loving daughter Allison Aevaliotis of Manville, NJ. The visitation will be on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 5 to 8 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd.

, Manville, NJ. The Funeral will be on Thursday, February 28, 2019 8:00 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
