She is survived by her daughters, Linda Staples Field, and Beverly Staples Hall; son, Steven Staples; grandchildren, David M. Purdy Jr., Drew Smarr, Chanda A. Agee, Adryan Hall, Nathan Staples, Alex Staples, and Andrea H. Gilreath; and 11 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2 o’clock at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Chaplain Gisela Mann officiating.
