Obituary for Jeanette M. Jones Jeanette M. Jones, 95, died peacefully, with family at her side on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. She was born in Campbellsport, on February 1, 1923, the daughter of Nicholas and Gertrude (Campbell) Klotz. Jeanette graduated from Fond du Lac Sr. High School.

She married her high school sweetheart, Clyde J. Jones on July 7, 1943, in Boca Raton, Florida. Jeanette worked in fashion in Fond du Lac and Wausau. She later retired from GTE in 1984.

She is survived by her two daughters, Christine Benning of New Jersey and Mary Kate Jones of Wisconsin; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant daughter, Jennifer, five sisters; one brother; and an infant great-grandson. A private memorial service in her honor is planned.
