Obituary of Jean Harchar Jean Harchar April 5, 2018 Jean Harchar, of Wilkes-Barre, formally of Swoyersville, passed away on Thursday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was born September 16, 1929 in Swoyersville, she daughter of the late George and Loretta Ewasko Visco. She was a graduate of Swoyersville High School.

Prior to her retirement in 1993, she worked as a dress maker at Flory Fashions, Owns St. Swoyersville, for many years, she was a member of International Ladies Garment Works Union. She also enjoyed listening to Polka Music and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph Harchar, March 1, 2000; brothers John, Walter, Anthony, Stanley, Joseph, Henry; sisters, Ann Keller, Estelle Norkunas, She is survived by sons, Gerard Harchar, Dallas; Rudy Harchar, Shalimar, Florida; Randy Harchar, Waverly Hall, GA.

; Grandchildren, Emily Harchar, Wilkes-Barre, George Harchar, Florida; Brain Harchar, Germany; Erin Harchar, Florida; Six great grandchildren. Private funeral service will be held on Thursday at the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett ST. Luzerne, with Rev.

Walter Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wyoming.
