Jeanne M. Bickel, 81, formerly of Jersey Shore passed away, Thursday, May 14, 2019 in the emergency room at Jersey Shore Hospital. She had been residing for the past two years at Nippenose Valley Village in Oval. Jeanne was born Oct.

26, 1937 in Jersey Shore, a daughter of the late Joseph I. and Ruth E. (Clark) Hoffman. She was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School. She was married April 9, 1955 to Dale S. Bickel, who passed away September 18, 2017.

Jeanne was the owner and operator of B. J.’s Flower Shop in Jersey Shore for over 20 years. She was instrumental in the restoration of the old Larryville school house Jeanne was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling but her main focus in life was her work and children. She also loved her Nippenose Valley Village Family.

Jeanne’s is survived by six daughters; Deborah Vanemon (Steve) of Jersey Shore, Linda Dunkle (Neil) of Salladasburg, Christine Christian (Edward) of Cogan Station, Karen Bower (Paul) of Williamsport, Lori Vanemon (Melvin) of Jersey Shore and Barbara Cohick (Timothy) of Rindge, NH, 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great grandsons on the way; one sister, Helen Bickel, of Cedar City, UT, one brother, Kenneth M. Hoffman (Deb) of Westcliff, CO and her beloved sister-in-law, Patricia Hoffman of Las Vegas, NV. Her memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2017 at the Nippenose Valley Village (The Old Nippenose Valley Elementary School) Rt. 44 South in Oval with Pastor Grant Helsel officiating.

Friends and relatives may call from 9:30 am until the time of the service Saturday morning at Nippenose Village.
