Jeanne Lawrence of Whitehall, NY,formerly of Montgomery, died Friday, October 5, 2018. She was 90. The daughter of the late Geraldine E. and William Nicol, she was born December 16, 1927.

She was a graduate of N.F.A. Class of 1945 and the Spencerian Business School, May 1946. She retired from the NY Telephone Company and was a member of the Pioneers. Jeanne was a member and former Matron of Eastern Star.

She was a member of Whitehall, NY Methodist Church and a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Montgomery. She was a gifted soprano soloist and sang in the choir for many years. Survivors include her husband William T Lawrence of Whitehall, NY; daughter Sandra J. Troutman and her husband William Troutman,son Todd W. Lawrence and his wife Lynn Ruggirello; grandchildren Whitney Troutman, Weston Troutman, Wyatt Troutman, Mark Lawrence and his wife Sarah, Sachelle Sullivan and her husband Sean Sullivan great grandchildren Luke & James Lawrence, Savannah, Skylah, Scarlett & Saoirse Sullivan; sister Wilma Kaufmann Mirola; nephews, nieces and cousins She was pre deceased by great granddaughter Sophia Grace Lawrence Visitation will be Friday, October 12, 2018 from 1-2pm at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St. Montgomery, NY.

Funeral services will be 2 pm, Friday, October 12, 2018, at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY. Pastor Jeromey Howard will officiate. Burial will be in Brick Church Cemetery in Montgomery, NY.
