OBITUARY Jeannette Lovette Stone September 18, 1929 – January 19, 2019 WEST COLUMBIA – A funeral service for Jeannette Lovette Stone, 89, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Stone passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019.

Born in Lumberton, NC on September 18, 1929, she was a daughter of the late William Jasper Lovette and Bessie Griffin Lovette. Jeannette was a longtime member of Northside Baptist Church in West Columbia and was very involved in church activities. She was a homemaker, raising her children and grandchildren.

She loved the Clemson Tigers and enjoyed going to the games. Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Bach of Matthews, NC; son, Edward Stone III of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Edward B. “Billy” Brown of West Columbia. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Stone, Jr. and her daughter, Laurie Jeannette Stone.
