Jed Michael Brown, age 68, life long resident of Elwood, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at St. Vincent Regional Hospital-Anderson after a short illness. Jed was born on December 24, 1949, in Elwood to the late John and Elsie (Grinnell) Brown. Jed graduated from Wendell L. Willkie High School in 1967 then he attended Ball State University.

He was retired from Guide Lamp after 30 years of service and was a member of UAW 663. Jed enjoyed music and he loved his dogs Roxie & Sable. Jed is survived by his two sisters, Susan (Joseph) Goode of Anderson, IN and Becky (David) Benefiel of Cicero, IN, several nieces and nephews, his beloved dogs, Roxie & Sable Jed was preceded in death by his father, John R Brown, mother, Elsie Brown, brother-in-law, Jerry Jameson.

Funeral service celebrating Jed’s life will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Rev. Carol Whetsel-Alvernaz officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Saturday, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana.
