Obituary for Jeffrey Duane Parkhurst Jeffrey Duane Parkhurst, 62, of Taylorsville, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 15, 2018. He was the son of Charles and Dolores Parkhurst. Jeff will be best remembered as the Service Manager of the former Hickory Marine Sales where he worked for 35 years.

He loved the lake, boating, fishing, and racing. Jeff was preceded in death by his father: Charles, and sister and brother-in-law: Karen and Tom Nestor. He is survived by his mother: Dolores, son Jason and step-daughter: Wendy (Donny) Pennell, grandsons: Alec and Alston Robinson, step-grandchildren: Janie and Carter Pennell, sister: Donna (Jerry) White, brother: Norman (Donna) Parkhurst, the mother of his children: Wanda Parkhurst and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 23rd from 10 – 11:15 am at Reformation Lutheran Church in Taylorsville, NC. A memorial service will follow visitation at 11:30 am. Donations may be made to Bethel Colony, 1675 Bethel Colony Road, Lenoir, NC 28645.
