Obituary for Jeffrey N. Larson Jeffrey Neal Larson, 67, of Red Wing, died Saturday, January 5, 2019, at St. Crispin Living Community, after a six month battle with cancer. He was born June 30, 1951, in Red Wing, to Neal and Betty (Johnson) Larson and graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1969. He enlisted in the US Navy and served during the Vietnam War until he was honorably discharged in 1973.

He worked various commercial HVAC jobs and also taught at the Red Wing Vo-Tech, ending his career with St. Cloud Refrigeration. In July of 1982, he was united in marriage to Missy Enz at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Jeff was a member of the Leo C. Peterson American Legion #54 and the Red Wing Elks Lodge BPOE #845.

When he wasn’t tinkering or building things, he loved to go fishing,–whether it was trolling the river, salmon and halibut fishing in Alaska or ice fishing, he enjoyed it. He is survived by his wife, Missy of Red Wing; daughters, Molly of Red Wing and Karla of St. Paul; siblings, Jane (Ron) Belschan, Jody (Lee) Diercks and Jack (Jayne) Larson and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry and his parents.
