Jeffrey Scott Garrett November 19,1969 – February 28, 2019 Jeffrey S. Garrett, 49, was born in Medford, Oregon and died in his sleep in Portland, Oregon. He was the son of Charles William and Corine Mural Ellis Garrett who are deceased. Jeffrey grew up in Medford and graduated Portland State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in 2005.

He had a very strong work ethicworking from the age 14, first at Safeway, and then at the National Park Service andTarget Stores Inc. LaterJeff worked as a pharmacy tec. at Omnicare Pharmaceuticals, Providence, Kaiser and Alliance RX Walgreens Prime until his death. Jeff met Kathleen Emily Killin at work and married December 15, 2001 in Medford.

They had two children, Conner Scott and Kristen Emily. He was very involved in their lives and attended the weekly Boy Scout meetings with his son and went to Kristen’s soccer games. The family lived in the Portland area where they were members in St. Stephen Lutheran Church.

Jeff’s passion was reading and his love of travel. Survivors include wife Kathleen Garrett, children Conner and Kristen Garrett, his brother Douglas Garrett, Medford and sister Pamula Garrett, Portland. A Memorial service will be March 9, 2019 at 1: 00 pm at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 290 West Gloucester St., Gladstone, Oregon.

Donations in Jeff’s memory can be made to St Stephen Lutheran Church.
