Jenene L. (Willard) Dennis, age 60, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019. She was born in Indianapolis on January 26, 1959 to Jess L. Willard and Thelma M. (Marcum) Willard. She graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1977.

She married Stephen L Dennis on July 12, 1985 in Lawrence, Indiana. Jenene worked for MSC Industrial Supply for 23 years in the collection department. She was a member of the VFW organization since 1990.

Jenene enjoyed music, being outdoors, and bird watching. She was a great writer and enjoyed coloring in her spare time. She was also an animal lover that stole the heart of every animal she met.

Jenene also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Dennis; daughters, Amy Fessler and Stephanie Dennis; sisters Jessica (Bill) Smith of Fortville, Joanne (Oscar) Monrabal of Miami, Florida, Judith (Donald) Sirrine of Pomfret, Conneticut; grandchildren, Hayden Fessler, Hunter Fessler, Tripp Shuler and Raelynn Shuler; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess L. Willard and Thelma M. (Marcum) Willard; and brother, Jon Willard.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Hancock Regional Hospital Attn: Hospice Care 801 N State St, Greenfield, IN 46140 or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
