Obituary for Mrs. JENNIE BETH HEARNE EDWARDS FORT WORTH — Jennie Beth Edwards died peacefully Saturday morning, May 5, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Edwards was 89. Service: She was laid to rest privately on Sunday, May 6, next to her husband, Cass, in the Edwards Family Cemetery.

Memorials: For those wishing to honor Jennie Beth’s memory, the family suggests donations be made to Union Gospel Mission, 1331 E. Lancaster Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76102, or a charity of your choice. Born in Fort Worth, March 1, 1929, Jennie Beth was the daughter of Dr. Jack and Lucia Hearne. She was married to the love of her life, Cass O. Edwards II, for 56 years until his death in 2005.

Jennie Beth was a long-time member of University Christian Church and a member of the “Big 10”, a group of grade school friends that remained close their entire lives. She was a member of The Assembly, the Junior League of Fort Worth and River Crest Country Club. She will be remembered for her humble heart, steadfast loyalty, contagious enthusiasm for fun and laughter and unconditional love for her family, friends and all of God’s creatures.

The family would like to thank all those who cared for their dear mother in her home for the last several years. Survivors: Jennie Beth was the mother of four children, Cass O. Edwards III, Missy Rodgers, Mary Martha Richter, and Crawford Edwards. She had nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren that loved her very much and affectionately called her, “Nonnie;” and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
