Jennie E. Hostetter, 95, passed away October 8, 2018 at the PMC Extended Care in Conrad. Jennie was born January 17, 1923 in Williams Montana to Adolph and Gerritje Neyenhuis. Jennie attended Lone Tree School along with her siblings until moving to California after her mother’s passing.

There she met and married David Mandell and to that union Sharon was born. They later divorced and Jennie met and married Guy Sanson. To That union Trudy Was born.

Jennie and Guy later divorced and Jennie returned to Valier Montana with her girls. She would later marry E.A. Hostetter and remain in Valier until May of 2018 when she moved to the Extended care in Conrad. Jennie loved her yard and had a beautiful garden that she harvested year after year.

She was also a self-taught seamstress, sewing many of her own clothes and clothes for her grandchildren. Nanas pride and joy was her family! She leaves behind her two daughters, Sharon Briden of Valier and Trudy Bruner of Chinook; her 5 grandchildren, Donnie Briden of Valier, Brenda Norby of Conrad, Stacy Semenze of Greely Co, Tara Overcast of Chinook and Dawn Colby of Chinook.

She was the proud Grandma to 17 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Buzz”; mother and father and her 5 siblings, Albert, Andrew, Henry, Gertie, and Christina. Graveside services will be Thursday, October 11, at 11:00 AM at Lakeview Cemetery.

A reception at the Lake Francis Pavilion will follow the service.
