Jennie Lou Kinder Leathers, age 74, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Roland Leathers, died Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the UK Medical Center. Mrs. Leathers was born in Lawrenceburg, KY to the late Harrison and Mamie B. Willard Kinder. She was a member of First Baptist Church and worked for Florida Tile as a sorter.

Jennie is survived by two children, Donald (Tonya) Leathers and Jennie Margo (Donald) Buffin, both of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Mallory and Kaiden Leathers and Jenilyn Hockensmith, all of Lawrenceburg, Amanda Buffin, Burgin; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Hockensmith, Lawrenceburg, and Kayson Mills, Burgin; two brothers, Jerry (Kathy) Kinder, Frankfort, and David (Terri) Kinder, Lawrenceburg; three sisters, Pauline Clark, Frankfort, Aline Spaulding, Harrodsburg, and Joyce (Johnny Carol) Spaulding, Shelbyville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Kinder and James Harrison Kinder. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert F. Ehr and Bro.

Steve Broughton officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Casket bearers will be Christian Kinder, Trent Mills, Donald Buffin, Charlie Blacketer, Noel Williamson, and Tim Spaulding. Memorial contributions are suggested to Community Baptist Church, 202 Saffell Street, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
