Jennifer’s Obituary Red Oak- Jennifer Marie “Jenny” Hood, 36, went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Jenny was born in Dallas on October 6, 1982. She was a graduate of Red Oak High School and received her Associates degree from Cedar Valley College.

Jenny was a free spirited person and an animal lover, especially her cats. She loved and was loved very much by her family. There are so many great memories and things about Jenny that we will always cherish and hold dear to our hearts.

Survivors: Jenny is survived by her mother, Carol Culver Hood of Kaufman, her grandparents, Tom (PaPa) and Joyce (Nanny) Culver of Kaufman; her father, Eddie Hood and wife Dani of Godley; her brother, Jonathan Hood and wife Courtney and their son Cutter Waylon Hood of Godley; brother, James M. Schlachter and wife Stephanie and children Abigail, Mason and Savannah of Florida; Sisters, Morgan Hood and Layklen Hood of Godley; step-brothers, Colton Cleveland and wife Traci and son Cree and Riggin Cleveland and wife Cori and sons Caiden and Luke all of Godley; her grandmother, Virginia M. Hood of Florida; Jenny also has many loving and caring aunts, uncles and cousins. Donations: In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to the SPCA in memory of Jenny and her love for all animals, especially her cats. Memorial: In abidance with Jenny’s wishes, there will be a private gathering for her family in Celebration of her life.
