Mrs. Jereleen Payne, age 86, of Chatsworth, passed away June 21, 2018, at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband: Raymond Payne, parents; Luther & Lether Scott, granddaughter: Tonya Patterson, grandsons: Matthew Patterson & Josh Bryant, brothers: Carl Scott and Billy Scott. She is survived by her children and spouses: Wanda & Billy Patterson of Chatsworth, Carolyn & Tommy Woody of McCaysville, Rev.

Lamar & Joan Payne of Chatsworth, Betty &Rev Jimmy Holsomback of Epworth, and Sandra & Charles Dunn of Chatsworth, 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great -great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters: Neva ( Wesley) Sane, Barbara (Frank) Collins, brother: Larry ( Beverly) Scott, sisters in law & brothers in law: Leaner Payne, Annie Mae Payne, Ivaleen(Clyde) O’Neal , Nora Belle Payne, Wesley (Geraldine) Payne, Rama Payne of Dalton and James Payne of McCaysville, and Margie (Clifton) Patterson of Copperhill,and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service for Mrs. Payne will be held on Saturday, June 23, at 2 pm in the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev.

Bobby Green and Rev. Jimmy Holsonback officiating, Interment will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 22nd from 4 until 9 pm at the funeral home.
