Obituary for Jerome G. Nettesheim Jerome “Jerry” G. Nettesheim, age 87 of Oconomowoc, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, June 10, 2018. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Rose Marie (nee Schmidt), his children Chuck (Cathy), Mary Jo (Gary) Flanagan, David (Donna), Robert (Barb Cross), John (Julie) and Tom (Carrie). Jerry is further survived by his 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren along with his brother Robert and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Hildagarde (nee Reinders). Jerry was a dairy farmer for 36 years and then worked at Marquardt Village until his retirement. He was the leader of the Jerry Nettesheim Orchestra from 1950 until the early 60’s and he loved his music.

Jerry was an avid baseball fan with his love for the Braves and the Brewers. He was a long time member of St. Catherine’s Church in Mapleton. Jerry had many friends and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A Funeral Mass for Jerry will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 with a visitation for family and friends starting at 9:30 AM until 11:15 AM with Mass starting at 11:30 AM. Burial for Jerry will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Elm Grove at 3:30 PM. Memorials are suggested to St. Catherine’s Church (W359 N8512 Brown Street, Oconomowoc).
