Jerry D. Dhone, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 28, 2018. He was born February 23, 1935 in St. Joseph, MO. He graduated from Finlay Engineering College in 1956 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

He served in the United States Army and then worked diligently as a Civil Engineer his entire career. He enjoyed creating stained glass windows and spending time with family and friends. He was dedicated, meticulous with details and overflowing with gratitude for the full life that he lived.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Dhone, brother, John Dhone, mother, Ora Kerr and step-father, George Kerr. Jerry is survived by his brother, Bob, his daughter, Lynette, his daughter, Laura, son-in-law Jim and their children Mikaela, Luke and Blake. A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 4th, with a gathering to follow from 4-6 p.m. both held at Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave.
