Stanley Kent Zabel, 75, Leawood, KS, passed away on June 17, 2018, at Kansas City Hospice House from COPD. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, June 20, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, on Thursday, June 21, also at Johnson County Funeral Chapel.

Stan was born November 5, 1942 in Kansas City, MO. He was married to Lois Zabel for over 50 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and former member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He owned and operated the Dyna Jet Car Wash and Pressure Systems in Overland Park for 53 years. He was an Eagle Scout. He attended Finley Engineering College and had a tremendous work ethic.

He was also an inventor and visionary that built a great business from his inventions. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Eva Zabel; granddaughter, Ashley Zabel; his great grandson, Gregory Eubanks; and his yellow lab fur babies, Nick and Dyna. Stan is survived by his wife, Lois; daughter, Rene (W.E.) Eubanks of Branson, MO; son, Scott (Pam) of Omaha, NE, son, Matthew Zabel of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Carolyn Jean (John) DuVall, and Mary (John) Ruhl; grandchildren: Michael, Jeff, Jennifer, Samantha, Cody, and Mia; great grandchildren: Caleb, Jacey, Cortney, Payton, Kial, Maston, Zoe, Derrick, Kipton, Austin, and Kamille; 4 nieces; and 2 nephews.
