Jerry Dale Roberts Sr., 81, of Greenville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at his residence. Memorial services celebrating Jerry’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Jerry Roberts Jr. officiating. Jerry was born on April 26, 1937 in McKinney, Texas.

He is the son of the late Charlie C. and Beatrice Moran Roberts. Jerry married Nan Elizabeth Barefield on July 24, 1958. He went to work at a n early age and worked alongside of his Dad driving a milk truck for the family business.

He later worked at the Oil Well in Garland before moving to Cash, Texas where he owned a grocery store and tire shop. He was also preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth, son Charles Marvin Roberts, sisters; Dorothy Roberts Gibbons, Lillie Roberts Reedy brothers; Charles, Lester, Tommy and Walter Andrew (WA) Roberts. He is loved and will be missed by his son Jerry Roberts Jr; grandchildren Joel A. Roberts of Sherman, Savanah M. Roberts of Sherman, Jerrod J. Roberts of Anna; sister Peggy Bourland of McKinney; brother Ronnie Roberts of Princeton and many nephews and nieces.
