Mr. Jerry Dennis Kelley, age 80 of Aragon, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019. Mr. Kelley was born March 7, 1939 in Aragon, son of the late James Kelley and the late Mattie Hindmon Kelley. He attended Seney Baptist Church and retired from the City of Aragon with 25 years of service.

Mr. Kelley enjoyed gospel music and working in the yard. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Williams Kelley of Aragon to whom he was married February 23, 1963; two daughters, Tina Cook of Aragon and Becky Kelley of Taylorsville; two sons, Dewayne Kelley of Aragon and Doyle Kelley of Rockmart; two sisters, Virginia Morgan and Jeanette Ingle both of Aragon; four grandchildren, Brittany Blalock, Destiny Kelley, Shandile Cook and Chasity Sefton; and three great-grandchildren, Mason Campbell, Nathan Gates and Kylan Kelley. Funeral services for Mr. Kelley will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev.

Michael Goss and Rev. Billy Chambers officiating. Interment services will follow in the family lot of Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Keith Streetman, Ervin Streetman, Mason Campbell, Steven Kelley, Donnie Williams and Jerry Childers. Honorary pallbearers will be: Tim Grace, Tim Parks and Nathan Gates. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. Freeman Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral services for Mr. Jerry Dennis Kelley.
