Jerry’s Obituary Jerry Hugh Evans, 73, passed away January 28, 2019. He was born in Dublin, GA the son of the late Tennyson Hugh Evans and Ruth Rountree Evans. He was predeceased by his daughter, Denise Evans and his son, Shawn Evans.

Jerry owned and operated J.G. Evans Construction, Inc He was a member of the Suffolk Rod and Muscle Car Club. Jerry is survived by his wife of 22 years, Nan Louise Palmer Evans; daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Shawn Watt; grandchildren, Lauren Watt, Danielle Watt, and Jordan Watt; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Raymond Jarvis; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Patricia Evans; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
