Jerry Joe Fry, 77 of Logansport, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 in his residence. Born on December 31, 1940 in Logansport, he is the son to the late Melvin and Mary Elizabeth (Stark) Fry. On June 7, 1964 in Logansport he married Mary Lou Neher who survives.

Jerry retired from the Exide Battery Factory and was active at Area Five. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His smile will be missed by many and he never knew a stranger.

Surviving along with his wife Mary Lou, is a daughter, Heather (Jermey) Evans, Logansport; two sons, Todd (Sara) Fry, Galveston; J.J. (Destiny) Fry II, Indianapolis; two brothers, Ronnie Fry and John Fry, both of Logansport and a sister, Karlene Handy, Winamac; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Arthur and Charles Fry and two grandchildren, Jackson & Reagan Fry, have preceded in death. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Gundrum Funeral Home.
