Obituary for Jerry K. Baxter Sr. Jerry K. Baxter, Sr., 80, of Duncan, SC, died Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born September 1, 1938 in Lincoln County, NC, he was the son of the late Thelma Bess Baxter and the husband of Dayle F. Baxter. Jerry was retired as an electrical construction superintendent.

He was a Blue Lodge Mason Duncan 309, Scottish Rite 18th, Charleston 32nd Mason, and Hejaz Shriners Potentate 2009 in Greenville, as well as current Treasurer since 2012. As well as being an honorary member of Hejaz Directors Staff. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Dayle F. Baxter, daughters, Deborah Kay Gregory (Jeffery) of Lyman, Rhonda Kay Parker (Gene) of Duncan, SC, a son, Jerry Kay Baxter, Jr. (Andrea) of Duncan, SC; five grandchildren, Thomas Elmo Gregory, Jeffery Andrew Gregory, Kalyn Grace Baxter, Katherine Grace Kramer, Ellison Kay Baxter, and one great granddaughter, Laila Grace Parker.
