Obituary for Jerry L. Patterson Jerry L. Patterson, age 84, of Lake Balboa, California, died June 20, 2018, at the Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, California. Mr. Patterson was born March 4, 1934, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and was the son of J. A. Patterson and Emily Knight Patterson. He was an educator and had graduated from Vanderbilt University.

Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife, Virginia Aguilera Patterson along with other family members and friends. Mr. Patterson’s wishes were to be buried in Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City, Arkansas. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
