Obituary for Jerry McClung Jerry Lee McClung, of Terrell, passed away July 8, 2018 at his home. Jerry was born May 13, 1949 in Tyler and was preceded in death by his father, Bill McClung. Jerry graduated Terrell High School in 1967 and then served honorably served in the US Navy during Vietnam.

He worked in the water departments at City of Terrell and City of Crandall. Jerry was also a member of the former Grace Temple Baptist Church in Terrell. He is survived by his mother, Pauline Willis and husband, Joe, of Terrell; brothers: David McClung and wife, Nancy, of Edom, TX, Thomas McClung of West Carrollton, OH, as well as other nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Max Slayton Funeral and Cremations Chapel. A private interment is planned by his family at Eubank Haven of Memories in Canton. For those wishing, memorials in honor of Jerry may be made to the Share Center, 103 Jones St., Terrell, 75160.
